Christmas Potpourri

I received this one year for christmas from my friend Caitlyn. It will now be forever a tradition in our home. This makes your whole house smell so good.
Here is her recipe:
Ingredients:
½ Orange, sliced
1/2 Lemon, sliced
3 sticksCinnamon
10 Fresh Cranberries
22 Whole Cloves
2 Bay Leaves
1 sliceGinger Root
1 sprig Pine needles
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and give in clear cellophane bags for Christmas with tag saying “fill your home with the sweet smell of Christmas”,
2. Add all ingredients to 1 quart of water and bring to boil; don’t eat!


***I have made this with oranges, cranberries, cloves and cinnamon sticks and it still smells great.
